Can we talk about how blissfully quiet and peaceful this Thanksgiving was? If you’re imagining a peaceful holiday full of food, snuggles, and zero stress—well, that’s exactly how it went down. No crazy family drama, no running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to impress anyone. Just me, my amazing husband, my youngest son and my grand dog; Macie and a whole lot of quality time together.

Sounds dreamy, right? But wait, it gets better.

Thanksgiving, But Make It Cozy (and Productive!)

We kept things super chill this year, just enjoying the calm of being in each other’s company. But, being the slightly ambitious (okay, very ambitious) person that I am, I also decided to make this Thanksgiving the perfect time to start something big. Enter: Podcast Launch. 🚨✨

Yep, that’s right! Over our my homemade enchiladas and re-fried beans, dirty rice and homemade queso (okay, so we're different, lol), my husband and I kicked off recording episodes for my upcoming podcast, launching in January 2025! 🥳

Now, I know what you’re probably thinking: “Wait, isn’t Thanksgiving supposed to be for resting and taking a break?”

And yes, it totally is. But I’ve always believed in mixing work with play—and, let's be honest, making content with your spouse is just about the best thing ever. We laughed, we planned, and most importantly, we recorded some solid episodes that I can’t wait to share with all of you.

Let me just say, this podcast is going to be everything. The topics are going to be juicy, thought-provoking, and downright entertaining. And since my husband was so graciously involved, we even had a few hilarious moments that may or may not end up in a blooper reel (seriously, stay tuned for that). 🎤😂

Creating Content (Because Why Not?)

Since my husband is a pro (lol) when it comes to content creation, we also decided, “Hey, why not turn this Thanksgiving into a fun content creation marathon?” So, we set up some mini shoots around the house (no fancy locations needed, just a cozy vibe) and started recording videos for my social media platforms.

Can I just say... it was SO much fun! 🤩

There’s something about collaborating with someone you love that makes everything a thousand times more exciting. We laughed at all the outtakes, bounced ideas off each other, and ended up creating some of the most fun and authentic content for my social media that I’ve ever done. And honestly? That’s the magic of it. Social media doesn’t have to feel like work when you’re having fun, sharing moments that are REAL and authentic.

What makes it even more special is that we get to spend quality time together while doing something we both love. Whether it's filming, editing, brainstorming ideas for new projects, or just being goofy, it's all part of the journey—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Well, for starters, this isn’t just about me sharing random thoughts. I want to bring you on this wild ride with me as I launch my podcast, share tips on building a business, talk about my journey as a beauty and fashion photographer, and sprinkle in some behind-the-scenes content that you won’t see anywhere else.
